Two Years On the Road – A Work in Progress

We left home in 2010 with nothing more than two rucksacks and a map of the world. The plan was the travel for two years with perhaps a stint of work somewhere in the middle.

Since then, we have made one full circle of the earth and have visited 26 countries, to date. As you read this we are meandering through India (country 26) and have plans to visit Nepal, the Middle East, Denmark, Sweden and the Baltic States.

With South America still hot on our radar for this year, the plan is to be in Vancouver, British Columbia by September 2012. That will officially make it two years on the road for us. We’ll have seen more than 30 new countries, lived and worked in China and learned more about the world than we ever could have imagined in a classroom.

Check out a map of where we’ve been and a little information about each place. See link below

If/when you head to South America I have tonnes of friends, whom I lived with, in Brazil (Sao Paulo and Florianoplis),Columbia, and even Chile – maybe places you can stay or have suggestions of where to go 🙂

Hey Mims! So glad you’re following. Thanks for the comment and for the SA offers. Will definitely have to discuss more over beers in Nova Scotia. Ps – There are so many cows in India – you should probably go there.
Big smiles in the rain from Kathmandu 🙂
