Favourite Holiday Packages

When it comes to naming your favourite package holiday destination, it’s not necessarily an easy decision. Whoever you choose to travel with, whether it’s package holidays with Thomas Cook or a getaway with a smaller, local firm, the market is packed to the rafters with wonderful, soul-stirring destinations that keeps tourists happily coming back year after year.

SantoriniLet’s start with Greece. Head to Athens and enjoy its mysterious myths and magnificent pillared ruins, before melting some plastic in its high street shops or soaking up its vibrant nightlife. Then there’s the Greek islands – and it’s fair to say that there’s virtually an island for every holiday wish-list imaginable! Corfu and Crete serve up fantastic family holidays with all the beaches, water parks and fantastic family hotels you could ever wish for. Kefalonia is a stunning island that’s all dramatic cliffs, secluded bays and pretty little towns. Kos is famed for its nightlife, particularly in neon-lit Kardamena, while Santorini is a spectacular volcanic island that’s built on steep cliffs with knock-out views across the ocean.

Goreme, TurkeyTurkey is another package holiday favourite, and it’s particularly popular with holidaymakers on a budget. From the lively resorts of Dalaman and Bodrum to the smaller, up-and-coming towns of Kas and quiet Tekirova, Turkey is a great spot for families and couples looking for a fascinating escape with lashings of sun, sea and sand.

Spain is still a holiday favourite, especially the lively Costas and the non-stop fun of Benidorm, but it’s not all about the mainland. You’ve got the glorious Balearic Islands that’s crowned by Majorca, the largest of the archipelago, which is home to cosmopolitan capital Palma, the clubbing central of Magaluf and dozens of other resorts catering for everything from fun-filled family breaks to romantic retreats.

Phew! So, what’s your package holiday favourite?

You could definitely see your skills in the
article you write. The arena hopes for even more passionate writers such as you who are not afraid to mention how
they believe. Always go after your heart.
